Introduction to questions

Questions form such an integral part of the success of Clever Nelly, arguably the most important, so getting this right is vital.

To support you with this process, we have expert in-house authors who can take your content and create question sets from it. Before doing so, we ask you to think about 6 mains areas.

Key considerations for authoring

  1. Confirmation that training has been delivered, and content is signed off, up-to-date and approved
  2. Confirming content aligns to key success criteria
  3. Priorities from content. What are the non-negotiables that must be included, what’s a nice to have (dependant on volume)
  4. Assignment of questions – all questions to all users or are we creating job-role specific
  5. What format is the content in and how will it be shared – email, SFTP, etc.
  6. Clarity on the EDF Question Writing process– (EDF create the draft question set which is then owned and finalised by customer)

As we move forward, our aim is to upskill you to be able to create your own questions and we will offer support throughout this process. We run regular Question Writing Workshops with our experts, so speak to your Account Director if you would like to be booked on to the next one. We also have our handy cheat sheet available, here or a more detailed recording of our previous workshop, here.
